Yesterday was a great day. Just myself and Annabelle, a wonderful portrait photographer from Warwickshire, on a whole day tuition with Bella West. How spoilt were we!
Here are my favourites from the afternoon at the Lamar Tree Gardens, with big thanks to the fantastic children featured, the true stars of the day.
I am currently working on a number of weddings I have recently photographed, but quickly wanted to post this one as I have already shown it to the lovely bride featured. This is one of many from Nhu & Kevin's beautiful wedding at Westonbirt House.
Last night I arrived at St.George's Church in Brockworth, for the rehearsal of Claire & Nick's wedding this coming Saturday. As I arrived I thought, where have the last 4 months gone? It felt like only yesterday that I was there for Emily & Neil's wedding in May, yet since then I have moved house, my children have moved school, and I have photographed 11 weddings, 3 holy communion services and 2 playgroups.
Here are my personal favourites from my images of Emily & Neil's wedding, a beautiful day with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. I also had the pleasure of having Robert Leons as my second photographer, and he did a great job blending into the background, capturing those moments of the day otherwise missed by the bride & groom.
And for a couple who were not keen on the idea of posed shots at all, Emily & Neil did great in letting me sneak some in! Thanks guys :)
I LOVE this pic as it features 3 ladies who I have all photographed as bridesmaids and as brides! Was great to see so many familiar faces, as I have photographed the weddings or children of quite a number of Emily & Neil's guests
When one of my most regular portraiture clients (and often willing guinea pig to my new portrait ideas!) contacted me to say her sister had just got engaged & was getting married in 3 weeks, I had to re-read the message! I think this had to be in all the years I have been photographing weddings an absolute record in as the shortest time to plan a wedding!
So, Craig had proposed on the Sunday, and 3 weeks later on a gorgeous Wednesday afternoon at Clearwell Castle, he married his beautiful bride, Rachel. And what a day! Such an amazing atmosphere, so sincere yet relaxed, and a lovely colour scheme and presentation... definitely one of the best I have had the fortune to be part of!
Rachel's stunning gown was ( and if you are from the Cheltenham area would guess from it's style) from the very reknown Cocoa, and Rachel made all the gorgeous ceramic table decorations at her shop, The Paint it Yourself Pottery Company in Cheltenham.
Here is a selection of my favourite moments and details, thank you so much Rachel & Craig for choosing me to be record your very special day xxx
