Gallery Now Open!!

From Saturday 27th October until Saturday 1st December, I will exhibiting & offering natural light portrait shoots in the gorgeous Dark Lane Studio in my favourite place I call home, Chalford. Below are details....

And in just 10 weeks, Associateship!

I am so delighted to announce that, only 10 weeks after receiving my Licentiateship from The British Institute of Professional Photography, on Monday I was awarded the status of Associateship in Portraiture.
This is, as I quote from the BIPP, recognition of "A high standard of craftsmanship and creative ability". 
I was assessed by some of the finest photographers in the country (was pretty starstruck!) , and to be awarded by them, was a huge honour, and one of the happiest days of my life! 

I have many to thank for this, but especially to everyone who featured in my panel (one of which I have featured below) , and to Kevin Wilson Hon FBIPP for all the support you have provided as my mentor and friend. 

And my fab children, Henry & Sophie, who over the last couple of months, have proved dab hands at using reflectors :) 

New Gallery Opening Soon!

I now have the keys to the new gallery, so excited! 

This will be initially to exhibit in for the next two months only, a place clients can view their images, or pop in to view my work in general. It will also be used for natural light portrait studies. 

Decorating has now been done, but before it had, the most important job had to been done, a portrait shoot of the lovely Molly to test the gallery's lovely available light!
